What is the First Look Library?
The First Look Library consists of one high-quality, driver front 3/4 image of mass-produced new and redesigned vehicles shortly after OEM announcement. The images come standard in silver and are upgraded with full color options when data is available.
Disclaimer: The First Look Library is comprised of imagery and reference sources that Evox reasonably believes represents final production vehicles. However, since this imagery is released before the actual vehicles go on sale, Evox cannot guarantee that the New Release Library imagery is identical to the final production vehicles sold by Auto Dealers.
What is the New Release Library?
The New Release Library consists of three high-quality, consistent, CG images (driver front 3/4, passenger rear 3/4, and side profile) of mass-produced, redesign vehicles as they are revealed. The images come standard in silver, but custom color options are available.
Disclaimer: The New Release Library is comprised on imagery based on vehicles available at Auto Shows and through Press Releases. The imagery in the New Release Library is of pre-production vehicles and unlikely to be identical to the final production vehicles sold by Auto Dealers.
What is the Base Trim Library?
The Base Level Trim library consists of three base level images (driver front 3/4, passenger rear 3/4, and side profile) for each vehicle. The images come in every available manufacturer color.
This library does NOT include all makes, models, and base level trims for each model year. For any given year, the Base Trim Library contains some select "carryover vehicles." Carryover vehicles are those vehicles which remain unchanged (or largely unchanged) from the previous model year.

How many vehicles will EVOX IMAGES® offer this year?
EVOX IMAGES® offers the most complete US vehicle library. We provide approximately 2,200 cars per model year and therefore have a unique standing in the marketplace.
Where do I find a current list of available vehicles?

Which vehicles will you be shooting and when?
Each year we develop a production timetable however it is subject to change due to product availability. For additional information, please contact your Customer Support Specialist at email@example.com.
Can I order a vehicle if you do not have it?
Evox is flexible when it comes to meeting our clients’ needs and looks forward to working with your vehicle “wish list.” For more information, please contact an experienced EVOX IMAGES® Licensing Specialist.
Does EVOX Carry-Over vehicle imagery from one Model Year to the next?
EVOX is unique because we capture every vehicle new every year. We do not settle on carry-over imagery. However, we do provide carry-over imagery as interim assets until the actual vehicles are available.
Are EVOX images available before the cars are on the dealer lots?
Yes, EVOX has developed the unique ability to access the data necessary to create an initial collection of exterior images even before the vehicle is available at dealers. These EVOX First Look™ images are high quality, consistent angle and lighting, color correct, and are guaranteed legal copyright ownership. The full suite of EVOX digital assets is typically available around the time of release of the vehicle to dealer lots.
Are EVOX images Copyrights 100% owned by EVOX?
Yes, all content is created by EVOX. For example, we do not re-distribute Press Photos that are owned by the manufacturers.
What types of exterior/interior images are available? May I receive a shooting list?
We shoot over 50 exterior/interior images per vehicle; please visit the Full Stills Set product page to see samples or contact your Customer Support Specialist to request the Full Stills Set Spec Guide at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are your images offered with transparent backgrounds?
For still images we offer PNG formatted files that have transparent backgrounds.
Do the PNG files include paths?
PNG files do not support paths. If you are interested in files with paths, our JPEG files include paths. We also offer composite TIFF files that include paths and channels for design purposes.
Do you offer every color available for every vehicle you shoot?
Our colorized images offer every color available for that specific vehicle, with model level color coverage from MY2009 – Current.
I’m trying to access the EVOXSTOCK. Who should I contact if my user name or password is not working?

How do I receive product samples for online testing purposes?
Please contact an experienced Licensing Specialist. He/she can provide qualified prospective clients with access to the Evox Sample Use Library.
Do you host images?
Most of our clients prefer to host our imagery directly on their servers. We offer secure FTP access from which you can easily download and store your still and interactive products.
How often do you release car stock photos?
We release our imagery to the library as soon as vehicles are complete. This can be as often as daily, Monday through Friday.
Is your library automatable? (i.e., Can I set up a script to automate downloading?)
We provide standardized naming conventions for all of our assets, so automating image downloads is easy with EVOX.
What is the best method to manually download imagery?
The best way to efficiently and securely download our imagery manually is via a FTP client, rather than using an HTTP point of access. Many Web browsers such as Firefox and Internet Explorer support FTP connections; however, you will find that a dedicated FTP application will provide much more efficient navigation and downloading from our library. Try a free FTP solution, like FileZilla.
How do I know when new vehicles are released to the image library?

What types of formats do you offer for your interactive products?
Interactive products, like our 360 Exterior Spins and 360 Interior Panoramas are available in Flash and QuickTime formats. iOS optimized formats for iPhone and iPad are coming soon!
Do your images map to data?
Yes, our images are easily mapped to any data set.
Do you offer technical support?
Absolutely. We provide initial training with your technical staff for effective use and navigation through our image library. We also offer support to ensure our products easily integrate into your website solutions.
Do you update vehicles after you’ve released them to the image library?
We are proud to provide you with the most vehicles, the most content, on an unmatched delivery schedule. Because we shoot and deliver vehicles early, colors are added as they are released to the market.
What is the best/easiest way to ensure we capture any and all updates to the image library?
The very best way to ensure you have the most current image library downloaded is to set up an automated process using the Change Log. This log specifies the exact changes to the image library. Is it possible to get car sourcing on demand?
If there is a specific vehicle trim you are interested in that we are not scheduled to shoot, we would be happy to source the vehicle for you and provide you with the images in our library. There is a fee associated with on demand car sourcing.
How many images do you offer in the image library?
EVOX delivers 30 - 50 car stock images per vehicle plus 360 movies, Animations and Interior/Exterior Video Clips.
Searching for Items
Can I search without being registered?
Yes, all users on our site can search for items without being registered.
What do I do if I can't find the items I'm searching for?
Below each search result is a link to a the Research Request form that allows you to send us a research request.
What is a lightbox?
A lightbox is a private page where you can save items. To create or view a lightbox, you must be a registered user and be signed in. You may save one or several lightboxes so that items may be viewed at a later time by either you, your co-workers, and/or clients. Lightboxes can be saved by the project name you give them and are linked to your registered account.
How many lightboxes can I have?
You can have an unlimited number of lightboxes. However, be aware that if you have thousands of lightboxes it may effect the loading time when dislaying all the lightbox names in a search results page.
How many items can I have in a lightbox?
You can have an unlimited number of items in a lightbox. However, be aware that if you have thousands of items in a lightbox it may effect the loading time when working with the lightbox in the Lightbox Manager pages.
Can I have duplicate items in a lightbox?
No. A lightbox can't have duplicate items.
Can lightboxes have comments and notes?
Yes. Each lightbox can have a comment and each item in a lightbox can have a note. To edit comments and notes, you go to the Lightbox Manager page, and from there you use the Advanced Lightbox Manager.
Can I email lightboxes?
Yes, and it can be done by using the Lightbox Manager page. When you email a lightbox, you can choose to allow the recipient to remove items from your lightbox and to change the comments and notes. The recipient doesn't have to be signed in to view and change your lightbox.
Can I upload and download lightboxes?
Yes, and it can be done by using the Lightbox Manager page. When you download a lightbox, it'll be saved as a tabbed delimited text file. You can upload the lightbox to the site at any time. You can give the lightbox file to another user, and that user can upload the file to the site in that user's account. Note that you can't download a lightbox from a different site and upload it to this site, and vise versa.
Can I rearrange items in a lightbox ?
Yes. It can be done by going to the Lightbox Manager page, and from there you use the Arrange Lightbox.
How do I get detailed information about an item?
The preview page has an Information icon which pops up a window that lists the available download sizes.
Is it safe to use my credit card on this site?
Yes. When you begin the checkout process, the security icon on your browser will go from being an "unlocked" icon to a "locked" icon. This means that information you enter such as your credit card type, credit card number, billing address, and phone numbers will be encrypted and secured.
How do I get terms with so I can be billed regularly?
Please contact us directly to arrange payment terms.
What if my company is tax exempt?
If you are a company with tax exempt status, you'll need to contact us directly in order to arrange payment without taxation. Please be prepared to fax supporting documentation that demonstrates your tax exempt status.
How do I download a comp?
You can download a comp from a preview page. If the page doesn't have a Download Comp link, you can opt to download the comp from the preview item itself.
What do I do if I purchased and item and can't get it to download?
If you've purchased an item and can't get it to download, then contact us and we'll either correct the problem on our site or arrange another method of delivering the item to you.
What if I'm behind a firewall?
The site will still work for you in most cases. However, in order to place orders on this website you'll need to make a secure connection to the website. In order to do this, your firewall must permit traffic on port 443. If you're uncertain on what this means, consult the documentation for your firewall or contact your system administrator.
What does Royalty Free mean?
Royalty-free items may be used by you multiple times for multiple projects without incurring additional fees. Royalty-free pricing is based on the file size of the product and the number of people entitled to use it, not the specific use. However, the rights granted are non-transferable and are personal to you. This means that if you license a royalty-free item to be used for a project by your client or any other person, they may not use the licensed item separately from that specific project. Royalty-free licenses are always non-exclusive.
All licenses of royalty-free products are subject to our End User License Agreement.
What does Rights Managed mean?
Rights-managed items have a limit to your use depending on several factors such as the specific project, size, distribution, medium, and timeframe. Rights-managed pricing varies with these factors and not the file size of the product. To reuse the item later on or for additional uses, you need to re-license it. Because it can't be used over and over without limits, a Rights Managed item offers you and your clients more chance to illustrate your idea with an item or video that's not widely seen.
All licenses of rights-managed products are subject to our End User License Agreement.
Can I use a Comp for free?
Yes, but you may use it for comping only.
Do I own an item once I purchase it?
No. You're not buying the item outright but rather purchasing a license that grants you specific rights to use the item. Ownership and copyright of all items always resides with us. For purchasing rights beyond the terms, please contact us.
What does it mean when an item is Model Released?
A model release is a written agreement between the photographer and the person being photographed, or the person who owns the property being photographed. Hence, a model release states that the person being photographed has given consent to be photographed. The purpose of it is to protect the photographer from any future lawsuits the person might file for claims such as defamation and/or invasion of privacy.
We clearly mark an item as model released when the photographer supplies us with model release information. We can request a copy of the release from the photographer if you require it. If an item is not marked model released, you may not assume there are any releases for any and all of the people shown in it.
What are your Use Restrictions?
You may not make or permit any alterations, including and without limitation additions, subtractions or adaptations, to any image, except that cropping, and alterations of contrast, brightness and color balance, consistent with reproduction needs, may be made. No image may be used in any way that is defamatory, violates the rights of third parties (including such third parties' rights of copyright, privacy, publicity, or other tangible or intangible property), or is otherwise illegal or obscene. In addition, you may not conjoin an image with any other material that may result in damage to the reputation of the image rights holder.
When I purchase a item, who owns the copyright to it?
The photographer retains ownership rights to any item that is licensed through our site.
How do I make a purchase without using a credit card?
You may apply for a House Account. Once approved, you'll be able to make purchases by using your House Account number.
How do I find information about my past orders?
To view your past orders, you use the Past Orders page.
How do I download items from one of my past orders?
You use the Past Orders page to get to your receipt. From the receipt page, you'll be able to download the item(s).
How do I update my contact details?
You can update your contact details by using the Change Profile page.
How do I cancel my order and request a refund?
You can contact us to cancel an order and request a refund, which is subject to our standard license cancellation policy. However, a refund may not be possible if you don't notify us within seven (7) working days of your purchase.
